Course Outline

Module 1 Introduction to Upper Crossed Syndrome

Brief overview of UCS, including its key features, causes, symptoms and how to reduce symptoms.

Module 2 Swedish Massage Techniques for the Posterior Upper Body

Serratus anterior, Intercostals, Lamina groove, transversospinalis and erector group.

Module 3 Myofascial Release and Deep Techniques for the Posterior Upper Body

Lamina groove, Cervical Extensors, trapezius, levator scapulae, Longissimus and Iliocostalis Impingement.

Module 4 Massage Techniques for the Anterior Upper Body

Suboccipitals, Pectoralis Major and Minor, Anterior Deltoid and Upper Trapezius release and Stretching

Module 5 Practical Assessment and Bodywork

Recap of key techniques and concepts, Practical application and assessment.

With years of experience in both Clinical and Spa settings, Amanda has become a master in her field. Having experienced the toll that pain can take on the body and mind after a serious car accident at the age of 19, Amanda finds immense joy in providing relief and peace of mind to all her clients. Amanda's areas of expertise include Neuromuscular therapy, Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Trigger Point Release techniques, as well as Pre and Post-Natal massage.
